Opening Video Show Transcript greetings Miami Unified School District in the town of Miami together we're about to embark on a New Journey as the 2024 25 school year is just ahead we get the opportunity to work collaboratively to Envision the outcome I look forward to building the most amazing experience on record especially for our students over the last year I witnessed the power of this community by working together we have the ability to outperform any school district in the state of Arizona remarkable work was done laying the foundation to Greatness in the last year we developed a portrait of a graduate an instructor model and a customer experience Matrix but the most critical word came when we adopted the Miami Unified School District strategic plan with the effort of every stakeholder group in this community we put into a 5-year plan to guide our work referring to the Strategic plan below are the top 5 folky for the 2425 school year first focus on student growth second adopt a both mindset third Implement Innovative practices for Empower parents and Guardians and finally engage Community Partners as a school Community we signed on to do some of the greatest work in our career the stage is set in our role is more critical now than ever before we have expectations aligned to meet the needs of our strategic plan and students navigating the journey together Student Success depends on our contributions our commitment to ensuring learning is fair and Equitable for every child will drive us to the top of the copper corridor we are Miami and we are hard Vandal strong I'm Richard Ramos and I am your superintendent of the Miami Unified School District thank you
